What's your ideal writing day look like?
Ten hours, a pot of fresh coffee, a clear head, and--to get the juices flowing--a walk during which I discover a corpse clutching a perfect manuscript that no one knows about.
Any big summer plans?
Planning to complete my project to scale the highest peaks on each continent--only Kilimanjaro remains--and also to make a serious effort to begin to extricate myself from a certain lie that I've been telling for years. Without going into details, I'll just say it involves peak-scaling.
What can people expect from your reading?
Honestly I'll be totally satisfied if they can just go home and say to themselves, "Hearing that completely transformed my life."
